AR&SC is committed to protecting the personal information of all visitors to this website. We recognise our obligation to keep personal information secure and believe it is important for you to know how we treat information about you.

Information Collected

Users of our website can visit the site without revealing their identity or providing information about themselves.

We collect information directly from users when they voluntarily submit their personal information to us.

We collect information from 2 key sources within our on-line system.

Whenever, someone buys from our website the customer is included in our database to receive information on our future sales and offers. Should the customer not wish to be included in the data base then there is a button available at the time of making her or his purchase for the customer to decline to (i.e., opt-out of) join our database. We hold this data on a Mailchimp secured server.

The other key source of information gathering in our website is that we provide the opportunity for users to register (i.e., opt-in) for an event, order goods, join a mailing list or request information even though they may not have bought any items. Again, details are held on the same Mailchimp secured server.

When this sort of information is collected, we will provide the reason for collection and will state how the information will be used. We reserve the right to add such collected user information to our records in order to provide users with our list of opportunities available to them in order to provide the opportunity for users to interact with us should they so wish. It is optional for users to provide us with their personal information. Should any user subsequently request in written form that their information is to be deleted we will do so.

Use of Collected Information

Users of our website who chose to transact with us provide personal information to enable the transaction to be completed. That information is held by us to process both the transaction and our related responsibilities to the user in respect of it, namely delivery or product queries.

We may from time to time need to share such information with other companies that we have hired for the sole purpose of providing certain services to us (‘Services’). Such companies are required to use such personal information strictly for the performance of the Services we have outlined to them and for no other purpose whatsoever.

We would never knowingly approve or authorise a third party using such details for their own use.

Security of Collected Information

AR&SC does not store financial details of any customer and has physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to protect users’ personal information from unauthorised or inappropriate access. Customer details are filed on a Mailchimp secured server chimp. Workers, affiliates, and business partners who misuse a user’s personal information are liable to face legal or disciplinary actions.

Users’ Access to Collected Information

Users of our website may review and update any personal information that is provided to us or collected through this website and stored by us.

Compliance

AR&SC complies with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and with the General Data Protection Regulation, which came in force from 25 May 2018. In that respect to be clear to all users,

User information is only used internally to help us to respond more effectively to serving their requests, typically from website enquiries.
We never give or share customer information with 3rd parties for the sake of their or any third party’s marketing or sales purposes.
User Purchases via our web site are transacted through approved service providers who hold the financial personal details of the purchaser we do not. We only hold for each customer their name address, order, and delivery address details to facilitate a transaction.
If we must take financial details for example over a telephone then once the transaction is completed those details are destroyed, we do not hold them in storage.
At any time, a customer who has previously consented to receiving correspondence from us may ask for their details to be removed.

We would of course share personal information if it was to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to other wise protect our rights.

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and use independent third-party consultants to manage our security infrastructure.
